In the following, we inform you about the processing of personal data when using the website www.thinkglobal-rub.de. Personal data is any data that can be related to you personally. Other conditions may apply on other pages of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

Description and scope of the data processing

Each time our website is called up, data on the calling computer is required for the provision of the information (required for the provision of the information, Rechtsgrundlage Art. 6 Abs. 1, Buchst. e). The following data is processed:

• The user’s IP address, which is anonymised by shortening immediately after the information is provided.

Files of this kind are kept at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum for 5 years (necessary for the fulfilment of the task, retention period according to the Ruhr-Universität directive, Rechtsgrundlage Art. 6 Abs. 1, letter e).
