Take your chance to win a travel grant of up to 2,000€ – apply until February 13, 2022!
The travel grants enable international postdocs to visit the research consortium and experience the unique research opportunities on site. During the individually agreed stay in spring/summer 2022, the postdocs from the research fields of the research consortium will have the opportunity to exchange with their hosts and local experts and to discuss possibilities for future collaboration.
The grantees will receive information about the research landscape in Germany. In addition, the winners of the travel grants can participate in workshops – digital or face-to-face. These include training on writing grant proposals and strategic career planning to shape their individual career paths in Germany. The workshops are offered by RUB Research School, the campus-wide graduate school for Early Career Researchers.
How to apply
International postdocs and late PhDs (within their last year of doctorate) working on research related to the Research focus can apply for an individual travel grant of up to 2,000 €.
To apply for a travel grant fill out the PDF-form and send it with a short CV and publication list by email to thinkglobal@rub.de until February 13, 2022. Please indicate which of the hosts are of most interest for you.
The travel grants are used for a two-weeks stay at the research consortium in the time from April until August 2022. The time for the stay can be individually arranged with the host.
